Terms and Conditions of the Collegiate Credits Program

1.     Jefferson Financial Credit Union Select Employee Group (SEG) Ambassador Collegiate Credits Program is available only to certain employees, you, who are Jefferson Financial members and Ambassadors within our SEGs as assigned by Jefferson Financial. At the sole discretion of Jefferson Financial, you may be disqualified from the Program if you are in default under any Jefferson Financial Membership Agreement, you are no longer the Ambassador for your school/department, or for any other reason. Such disqualification will result in the loss of your accumulated credits.

2.     The Program is offered at the sole discretion of Jefferson Financial. Jefferson Financial may terminate the Program or any portion thereof with 30 days prior notice to you. However, Jefferson Financial may substitute rewards at any time without prior notification to you and rewards are subject to availability. Jefferson Financial may also change the credit increment schedule at any time with 30 days prior notification to you.

3.     You are responsible for reporting and tracking your activities and credit accrual. Receiving SEG company approval for credit accruing activities is your sole responsibility. Jefferson Financial is not responsible for consequences you may face as a result of any breach in SEG company policy. Jefferson Financial is not responsible for unreported or lost credits. Activities done prior to August 1, 2005, do not qualify for credits. Jefferson Financial may allow or disallow credits at its sole discretion.

4.     There are three Semesters that you can accrue credits; Spring, Summer, and Fall.  Credits cannot be rolled over from one semester to the next.

5.     Credits may not be assigned, transferred, or pledged by any Ambassador to any third party. As an Ambassador, if you leave your current position within your school/department and are no longer the Ambassador, or if you leave your company altogether, you may redeem your accrued credits during mid-terms or finals week; whichever occurs first. If you are terminated as an Ambassador by Jefferson Financial, you may redeem accrued credits within30 days of your termination. If you do not redeem them, you forfeit them. However, if you become an Ambassador at another school/department within 90 days you may rollover your credits and continue if it is within the same semester to accrue credits.

6.     Two opportunities will be given to you each semester to redeem your credits for rewards. These periods will be referred to as mid-terms and finals week.

7.     Jefferson Financial makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations of any kind concerning the program credits. Jefferson Financial is not responsible and does not warrant the condition of any credit. Jefferson Financial makes no representation or warranty concerning any rewards. Jefferson Financial has no liability in connection with the reward or in connection with any use the Ambassador makes of the reward. Any liability in connection with the use or ownership of any reward is the sole responsibility of the Ambassador. All program rewards are subject to change as may be necessary to comply with state or local laws or regulations. You release Jefferson Financial from any and all liability regarding the redemption or use of rewards.

8.     When credits are redeemed, any applicable taxes, surcharges, or fees are your responsibility. Any federal income tax liability associated with a reward is also your responsibility.

9.     Rewards are not transferable, returnable, and have no cash value. Jefferson Financial is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed rewards.

10.   At the sole discretion of Jefferson Financial, rewards will be shipped to the Ambassador or made available to the Ambassador at a Jefferson Financial location selected by Jefferson Financial.
